Suicide Silence
Suicide Silence
Fresh off the heels of their successful European headliner, California based extreme metal titans SUICIDE SILENCE, will return to the US on a headlining run this winter dubbed the "Stronger Than Faith Tour"! The band will be continuing on their crusade in support of their juggernaut release You Can't Stop Me, which came in at #16 on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 Chart upon its release this past July.

"We had an amazing time this last fall on tour and now it is time to really bring the fire on our first US headlining tour of 2015," says vocalist Eddie Hermida. "We are bringing our good friends in EMMURE, WITHIN THE RUINS and FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY out this time so be ready for an ass whoopin' you won't be able to cry home to your mom about! Come early and hang out with us this spring on the 'Stronger Than Faith' tour!"

"SUICIDE SILENCE and EMMURE have been friends for a long, long time," adds guitarist Mark Heylmun. "It's been over 6 years since we've got to do a tour like this one coming up so to say I'm excited is a massive understatement. So come out and hang out because this is gonna be one for the record books."

The tour kicks off in Santa Cruz, CA on February 17th, and concludes in Tucson, AZ on March 25th.
Upon A Burning Body
Upon A Burning Body
Some say it's not who did it first, but who does it the best. Sumerian Records' newest recruits in Upon a Burning Body aren't breaking ground, they're shaking the ground.

Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, the five piece metal/hardcore hybrid juggernaut has been turning heads in the underground DIY circuit for years now. Paying their dues as a hardworking independent band have definitely paid off. They were hand-picked to be the special guests for all of Texas on the Thrash and Burn 2009 Tour w/ DevilDriver, Emmure, Despised Icon & Veil of Maya and now 2010 has the band poised to explode.

With a clear vision for their identity and an immeasurable level of determination, Upon a Burning Body are now touring full time throughout North America spreading their message of dedication, self-belief and relentless competitive greatness. Sumerian founder Ash Avildsen commented "Upon a Burning Body frontman Danny Leal has one of the most distinguishable and decipherable voices I have heard in years. With the perfect soundtrack of riffs and beats backing him and an explosive live show, there is no question what the very near future will hold for this band."

Carrying an infectious theme to their new record, the band is drawing in listeners all over the world through the use of creative lyrics portraying the characters of Al Pacino played in timeless films such as The Devil's Advocate, Donnie Brasco, The Godfather and more. Their debut album, "The World is Ours" is slated to hit stores everywhere in March 2010. The band kicks off the new decade on tour alongside their label mates ABACABB. Shortly after that, the band is rumored to be special guests on select dates with Bleeding Through and Born of Osiris. Welcome to the family.
Winds Of Plague
Winds Of Plague
From the shadows of Los Angeles, Winds of Plague has been hitting the West Coast indie music scene for the last three years. They offer up fast and heavy hardcore melodies served with an attitude that gets your attention every time. This young band brings energy, emotion, and mayhem to the stage. Their dark blend of eerie keyboards, insane drumming, and snarling vocals, which flow into slow, brutal breakdowns are their signature sound. Winds of Plague is built on principles, both musically and lyrically. Musically they stretch beyond the boundaries of the cookie-cutter metal found on CD racks today. Their fresh approach to the use of keyboards as the backbone for their songs ensures that they will not be confused with the overwhelming metal-mania emerging lately into the hardcore scene. Lyrically they go beyond complaints of broken hearts and being swallowed by the cold darkness, exploring themes of human nature which transcend the adolescent tales of love lost and mistaken identity, which are found as so many anthems for bands today.

With their first CD "A Cold Day in Hell" on Life Sentence Records, Winds of Plague is ready to bring their unique sound to the table and break all boundaries. Scheduled for a summer release, the CD will be the kick-off for a full US tour. Winds of Plague is an enthusiastic touring band, and is easily recognized in cities throughout the western US. A tour across the country will bring them further recognition and no doubt push them through the ranks to receive the acclaim that they deserve.
