Cannibal Corpse
Cannibal Corpse
Cannibal Corpse has smashed—nay, hammer smashed—every boundary set before them, defied every censor set upon them, and besmirched every country that would have them. After two decades of unending death metal torment, the band's calling cards are many: the depraved lyrics, the blinding technical prowess, the dominating stage presence, the legions of dedicated fans, the million and a half albums sold. From their bloody Caesarian inception in 1988 and debut splatterfest Eaten Back To Life (1990), Cannibal Corpse have mangled the minds and stereo systems of death metal youth from Buffalo to Sydney to Tokyo to Tampa while playing a crucial role in inspiring a new wave of musicians like The Black Dahlia Murder and Cattle Decapitation.

In the far-flung death metal universe, the name Cannibal Corpse has achieved godfather status—not only for the band's morbid musical legacy but because of their commitment to the scene as a whole. "Part of the reason we may have ended up in a leadership position in the scene is because we've been consistent," bassist Alex Webster offers. "We've tried to stay 100% death metal in the kind of music we make, and we've always tried to take younger death metal bands on tour to help give back to the scene we've been so lucky with. So if we've become godfathers of death metal in any way, it's because we care about the scene, and we've been consistently caring about it for our entire career."

After The Burial
After The Burial
An uninhibited eight-stringed dual barrage of frenetic riffs and dynamic chord progression is exactly what the crushing new AFTER THE BURIAL delivers with pinpoint precision. The highly acclaimed new album, In Dreams, is quickly going to raise the bar for all others within the metal genre as this group effectively unleashes a frenzy of jaw-dropping dual guitar dynamics that is backed by a captivating energy and groove resulting in an overall unrelenting output of punishment. This Minnesota quintet is hell-bent on forging their own unique path within the extreme metal genre and In Dreams proves that they are well on their way to that very goal.

Justin (guitars) states: "We've spent the last year putting all of our hard work into this album, and we can assure you that the intricate dynamics of In Dreams will satisfy your appetite for the crushing guitars, driving drums and powerful vocals you've come to expect from us."

AFTER THE BURIAL spent the winter of 2010 touring relentlessly across North America on the "December Decimation" tour. This group has something for everyone that pleases the tech nuts while providing an entertaining stage show that is sure to always get the metalcore kids into a violent frenzy. This is a band that thrives on the road and tours relentlessly across the world non-stop. This is an extreme metal hybrid that is a voracious assault on all the senses forcing your brain to fire on all cylinders in order to process the amount of material that is currently being pounded into your ears. This is thinking man's metal and it's not for the weak minded.

AFTER THE BURIAL's highly acclaimed sophomore album, Rareform, hinted at their true potential, but In Dreams brings all of their combined talents to fruition. The disc opens with a freight train of brutality and sheer brute force busting out at the seams and never lets up on the gas for a split second. Each track will keep you on your toes guessing what might possibly be next in this never-ending array of intensity. This is essentially a roller coaster of unconventionality, so strap yourself in tight and prepare for a wild ride.

In Dreams is going to redefine the genre and position AFTER THE BURIAL as the forerunners of the new extreme progressive movement.
Suffocation

The band comprises vocalist Frank Mullen, guitarists Terrance Hobbs and Guy Marchais, drummer Mike Smith and bassist Derek Boyer. The band's grindcore-influenced technical death metal style uses guttural vocals with a bottom-heavy guitar sound; complex, fast guitar riffs and drumming, and a sophisticated sense of songwriting.
Carnifex
Carnifex
For more than 25 years, Death Metal has been the most maniacal and vicious form of rock. Covering the obscene and praising the perverse, extreme Death Metal still reigns as the driving force that continues to devour all other forms of hard rock. As each year passes in this brutal movement it becomes increasingly difficult to find suitable leaders to carry the torch and continue to entice and surprise an audience that certainly isn't shocked by much, and is definitely impressed by little. That search has ended.

Allow us to introduce CARNIFEX.

Derived from the Old English word for "executioner," their moniker could not be more appropriate. It's a word that reeks of death and destruction from the Dark Ages to describe a fierce, dark death metal band. It's hard to imagine that San Diego - known for its white sand beaches, endless sunny days and astronomical real estate, is also home to the brutal beat down that is CARNIFEX.

In 2005, vocalist Scott Lewis had a chance meeting with like-minded, gifted drummer Shawn Cameron. Having both played in a countless number of bands over the years that just didn't "seem to fit," the connection between the two was felt instantly. Together, they began a search to fill the musical void that had existed in each of their lives. They quickly formed a group and hit the road. And CARNIFEX, being the serious-minded musicians that they are, hit the road hard. Refusing to be another "here today, gone tomorrow" trend, CARNIFEX let nothing stop them from perfecting their live show, touring relentlessly and writing brainsick, yet intelligent, songs. Having endured everything from tour cancellations, van breakdowns and inevitable line-up changes, that "magical fit" was solidified by the end of 2007. Scott and Shawn were joined by the intensity of guitarists Cory Arford and Ryan Gudmunds. Bassist Fred Calderon rounded out the furious fivesome.

The non-stop touring and methodical songwriting eventually resulted in CARNIFEX selling over 5,000 copies of their first full-length album, Dead in My Arms, with little publicity. Not surprisingly, industry types started to notice; however, none as quickly as Victory Records. The men of CARNIFEX were welcomed to the Victory family almost immediately after they showcased their brilliance to the staff in November 2007. Having spent a lot of time writing during the previous year, CARNIFEX was primed to get into the studio to begin the current masterpiece that is The Diseased and the Poisoned. Zeuss (Unearth, Shadows Fall, Hatebreed) at Planet Z Studios was a natural choice for the band as producer, and they entered the studio rapidly and intently.

CARNIFEX is something musically unique. But what really makes CARNIFEX stand out from the throngs of other hard rock acts currently scouring the planet is their savage live show. Their declaration to make every night an "experience" for fans rather than just a "show" has proven to be perhaps the most appreciated trait of the band among fans. But you can keep your pyrotechnics and other special effects at home…CARNIFEX relies solely on the power of their music. "Every night, we strive to play extremely tight. Sometimes is can be difficult to make such an intense show so interactive, but we make sure that everyone is getting involved," says Lewis.

On June 24th, CARNIFEX will proudly deliver their ferocious new album to the metal masses. Intriguing and armed to the teeth with an arsenal of blast beats, machine gun riffs and vocals exorcised from the deepest pits of hell, The Diseased and the Poisoned is the soundtrack to your worst nightmare. CARNIFEX is ready to steal your soul.
Revocation
Revocation
In 2000, vocalist David Davidson, drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne and bassist Anthony Buda, who attended a high school in Boston, Massachusetts, formed Cryptic Warning, influenced by Guns N' Roses and Metallica. The band's sound is known for being a fusion of technical death metal and thrash metal. Davidson developed his playing technique by attending the Berklee College of Music, where he focused on polyrhythm for jazz. This musical education brought him a expertise in both playing and songwriting, while "some of the atonal aspects of jazz gave him a different perspective on composing and soloing.

Slaughter to Prevail
Slaughter to Prevail

Ingested
Mancunian slam crew INGESTED have built a reputation as one of the most savage death metal acts to come out of the UK for a long time. Punishing beat-downs, epic riffage, guttural vocals and blistering speed are just some of the weapons in Ingested's musical arsenal.

2015 now sees Ingested return with their heaviest offering yet in the form of "The Architect Of Extinction", mixed by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy) and featuring mind blowing artwork from Toshihiro Egawa (who also did the artwork for the band's debut record).
"The Architect Of Extinction" will be released January 12th on Century Media Records in Europe.

Jason Evans (vocals) comments: "It's took us three albums and two EP's to find our sound, our identity as a band. This album is Ingested in it's purest form; nihilistic, slamming death metal. Every lyric, guitar riff and drum beat on this album is delivered with utter sincerity, we fucking mean it this time. This is the album we have always wanted to create, this is THE ARCHITECT OF EXTINCTION.
Once again we enlisted the amazing art talents of Toshihiro Egawa, who we worked with on our debut album "Surpassing the Boundaries of Human Suffering" to produce yet another stunning, brutal masterpiece to compliment the audio assault we've captured on disc. This album was mixed by Christian Donaldson (Beneath the Massacre, The Last Felony and Cryptopsy) and features guest appearances by Julian Kersey (Aegaeon), Taylor Wientjes (The Kennedy Veil), James Schuster (Eighty Thousand Dead / Delusional Parasitosis) and Alex Terible (Slaughter to Prevail) who have contributed their very own brand of brutality to this record. This is our most definitive work to date and we can't wait to unleash it on the world."
